The Twitter Files #TwitterGate
Mainstream media is incentivized by money. You can pay them to say stuff.
I was just in a Twitter Space with 100k people on this topic (because Elon was a speaker), and I will summarize it below.
The focus was that last election; the voting results were interfered with by people within Biden's government emailing Twitter staff to delete tweets. You can read all the data Elon has been leaking here.
There is hard proof that government officials broke laws in the last election. This will be criminally investigated as it violates the First Amendment. We will be hearing lots about this.
Moving forward, Twitter will start labelling articles with links to the profile of the journalist so the reader can learn about them and consider their viewpoints.
For example, a 69-year-old is trying to find out what happened to FTX. If they read The New York Times and saw the puff pieces on SBF, they'd think he's a good guy. The way to fix this is to label the article "New York Times has received $X in donations from SBF, whom this article is based on."
With that knowledge, the reader can then consider that the article will be biased.
